With his tremendous operatically trained singing voice and his acting skills, combined with his mastery of make-up and attention to detail, he has created his own art form.

Years later he would perform with Liza Minnelli as her mother and for American presidents, Queen Elizabeth , Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

By 1970 Jim was on all the major talk and variety shows worldwide. He has played Carnegie Hall 9 times and did two seasons and many Sunday nights at the London Palladium. His T.V work includes Heres Lucy in 1972 thru to Ally Mcbeal in 2002.

About the Theatre

George Bernard Shaw would have been proud of this theatre.

Located near the British Library, the Shaw Theatre has hosted the best. From the brash genius of the Broadway musical, to Van Morrison's dynamic fusion of Celtic and contemporary music, to Harry Connick Jr's inimitable New Orleans' jazz.

Sundays at the Shaw are home to some of London's finest classical musicians in the intimate and immediate setting which is the Shaw Theatre.

The Shaw Theatre continues its outreach into the community in association with its producers, ensuring that a new generation of theatre goers have the opportunity to share the unforgettable experience of live theatre, opera and ballet.

'We look forward to you joining us for an evening at London's Shaw Theatre' - Brian Daniels, Chief Executive and Artistic Director

Before being completely rebuilt in 1998, the Shaw Theatre originally opened its doors in 1971 as part of the St Pancras Library. The theatre is now fully refurbished with 446 comfortable seats, all commanding an excellent view of the stage.
